For years, I searched for ways to improve my wellbeing. Surely, I thought, there had to be something—or someone—that could lead me to health and happiness. Whether it was the latest diet trend, a new workout routine, or a more fulfilling job, I was constantly looking outward hoping to find a solution so that I could live my best life.
But there was one problem with my approach: I was outsourcing my health and happiness. Despite all my efforts, I wasn’t getting the results I had hoped for.
It wasn’t until later in life after experiencing a series of stressful events, each unfolding within months of each other, that I hit a turning point. The cumulative stress triggered chronic inflammation. I experienced constant muscle weakness and pain, fatigue, skin issues, and the inability to lose weight, even though I was working out five to six days a week and eating what I thought was healthy.
That experience led me to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), where I became a certified health coach and discovered the transformative power of holistic wellness. Within just a few weeks of making sustainable, balanced lifestyle changes, everything shifted. The weight came off. The pain disappeared. I felt energized and empowered again.
I realized that my well-being had always been within reach—and, more importantly, within my control. Hoping for an outcome didn’t create change, but taking intentional action did.
Today, I’m passionate about helping others take that same empowering step. I support clients in creating lasting change through nourishing food, supportive habits, and a mindset that fuels well-being.
